Michael Zarnock is one of the leading authorities on Hot Wheels cars in the world. An author of more than a dozen books on Hot Wheels, Zarnock is a member of the Diecast Hall of Fame and has twice been selected a Guinness world record holder for his Hot Wheels collection. Mattel produced the Mike Zarnock’s Altered Roadster from the Drag Strip Demon Series in 2009, basing it on Zarnock’s own hot rod.
