White Ironstone China collectors to gather April 23-24

Hundreds of fans of White Ironstone China will converge on Dayton Ohio, April 23-24 for the 21st Annual Convention of The White Ironstone China Association (WICA).

DAYTON, Ohio — The 21st Annual Convention of The White Ironstone China Association (WICA) will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dayton, Ohio Thursday, April 23 through Sunday, April 26.

popular Show, Tell, Ask on Friday evening. Saturday will feature a program on English Transfer-Printed Advertising in the morning and American Calendar Plates as well as Selling on EBay in the afternoon. Saturday will end with a live auction conducted by Cordier Auctions and Appraisals, Harrisburg, PA. The auction serves as a fundraiser for the WICA.

Items of interest in the auction will include multiple mugs, cheese keeps, syrups including Paneled Scroll, and a spoon warmer in the shape of a nautilus shell by Copeland. Pieces in the Laurel Wreath, Sydenham, and Ceres patterns will also be featured.

Additional opportunities to purchase White Ironstone will be available at the annual Show and Sale, the Tops & Bottoms Sale, and the Flea Market.
