Leland Little Auction teams up with Invaluable to offer online bidding
North Carolina’s Leland Little Auction & Estate Sales is teaming up with Invaluable to offer online bidding, beginning with a series of auctions set for March 13-15.
BOSTON — Invaluable, the world’s largest online live auction marketplace, and Leland Little Auction & Estate Sales (LLAES) Ltd., a premier auction gallery located in Hillsborough, North Carolina, today announced a new partnership to provide Invaluable bidders with exclusive access to online bidding on LLAES, Ltd. sales.
The first Leland Little Auction sale to be promoted through Invaluable is the company’s
upcoming Spring Auction Catalog taking place from March 13-15 featuring fine wine, jewelry, antiques, fine art and other collectible objects.

The three-day auction will kick off with the Rare & Fine Wine auction on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 5:00pm EST. Since its inception in 2010, the Rare & Fine Wine department at Leland Little Auctions has been known for offering the largest wine auctions in the Southeastern United States, and the upcoming sale will feature over 500 lots including a strong collection of sought-after California wines. Particular items of note include a 1982 Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, a 1990 Chateau Petrus and several lots of wine from Screaming Eagle Winery and Vineyards in Oakville, California
The sale will continue on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 6:00pm EST, with the 20th Century Arts & Design sale, featuring the Park Avenue, New York, Urban Interior Collection of Mr. and Mrs. George Hornig. The sale will offer 88 lots from the Hornig collection, including a Fine Georgian Library Bookcase and a pair of Christopher Spitzmiller Table Lamps. The sale will also feature 127 additional lots, including works by Salvador Dali, art deco furniture and several works by North Carolina artist Gayle Stott Lowry.
The final day of the auction is LLAES, Ltd.’s flagship Fine & Decorative Arts sale, taking place on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 9:00am EST. Noteworthy lots include a Platinum and Pear Shaped Diamond Ring, featuring a 5.05 carat diamond, along with other lots of fine jewelry including a Gold and Enamel Bracelet, Schlumberger for Tiffany and Franklin Roosevelt’s Last Wrist Watch and his Bodyguard’s Archive. The sale also features fine art including “The Flower Seller” by Gaetano Bellei (1857-1922) and antiques such as a Mortimer & Hunt Victorian Silver Sauce Boat and a Chinese White Jade Carving.
