Ironstone China group planning 21st annual convention

collectors who fervently search for, buy and sell white — and only white — ironstone. The group is inviting all those who admire and collect this antique English and American ware to join them for an extended weekend filled with entertaining and educational events. Attendees can take advantage of educational lectures and displays, and expand their collections at the flea market and auction. Other convention amenities include the banquet and other meals, raffles, show and tell and several local venues for purchasing this versatile pottery.

This year the Sunday Sale & Show will be open to the public with no admission charge. The sale will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Sunday, April 26.

To join the White Ironstone China Association, send a check for $40 made out to “WICA, Inc.” and remit to WICA, c/o Chuck Ulmann, 1320 Ashbridge Road, West Chester, PA 19380. The annual membership fee is good for a year’s membership for two persons at one address.
