Union, IL - An extensive collection (more than 500 lots) of antique music machines, from the noted collection of Lawrence A. Schlick, will be presented for auction July 19-20 by Donley Auction Services, Inc.
Among the items featured in this auction is a Columbia Graphophone A-H, English Puck
Thread Drive Cylinder Machine, a Victor Victrola Portable Suitcase Record Player, and a Thornward Cylinder Graphophone, among other items.

The auction begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20. The preview is Noon to 8 p.m. Friday, July 18 and auction details include no minimum, no reserve, and absentee and phone bids are welcome, along with online bidding -- which is facilitated by AuctionZip and Invaluable.com. The auction location is Donley’s Wild West Town, 8512 South Union Road, just off of Route 20, at the intersection of Route 20 and South Union Roads, Union, Illinois, 2 miles south of the Village of Union.
Mr. Schlick was highly regarded as a pioneer of phonograph collecting and his collection is regarded as one of the finest in existence. Also included will be rare phonograph advertising pieces and many items of 19th century invention and technology.
