Upcycling, rustic and salvage antiques headlining Old House Vintage Market
Old House Vintage Market, slated for Jan. 13-14 in Loveland, Colo., will serve as a haven of opportunity for seekers of repurposed items, salvaged antiques and industrial elements.
LOVELAND, Colo. — The Old House Vintage Market will be live in Loveland, Jan. 13-14, 2017. The Market is an upscale antique, vintage, salvage, upcycled and handmade shopping experience.
Showcasing Small Business Versatility
After launching the market last spring in Golden, founder Bernadette Rankin followed up with a fall
market in the city. Both events received rave reviews from vendors and shoppers. The market is coming to The Ranch at the Larimer County Fairgrounds for its winter installment. This market will be bigger than the first two markets combined, boasting more than 80 market spaces.
“After the holiday rush is over, the winter can feel long, so we’re looking forward to bringing some brightness to the season with our event where fantastic small businesses can connect with shoppers for a weekend of fun and treasure hunting,” Rankin said. “We’re especially excited because of the reception we’ve received so far. People are enthusiastic because we have the opportunity to fill a need in Northern Colorado in which we can bring small businesses together to create a unique shopping experience for our visitors.”
Familiar Faces Return to Old House Vintage Market
Well-known vendors include The Pink Attic Cat, Rare Finds Warehouse and Old Cottonwood. The Pink Attic Cat of Littleton was recently chosen as one of Colorado’s favorite antique/vintage shops in Flea Market Style’s Readers’ Choice. Old Cottonwood is a husband and wife team specializing in vintage, retro, industrial, primitive, recycled, and project pieces. The Nebraska-based duo is one of two vendors from across Colorado’s borders.
Rare Finds Warehouse, a local leader in rustic, vintage and industrial merchandise, sponsored the September market, and is back to offer even more to the market’s shoppers, this time as a vendor and sponsor. Thanks to Rare Finds’ sponsorship of The Old House Vintage Market, shoppers will receive vouchers for free warm winter drinks, branded reusable shopping bags, a cupcake giveaway and the opportunity to have fun photos snapped with a vintage camper.
Something New to Enjoy
New to The Old House Vintage Market is an exclusive Friday Night Shopping Party, from 5 to 9 p.m. on Jan. 13, where over 200 guests will get to mix and mingle while getting first dibs on the best that vendors have to offer. They’ll also receive a free reusable shopping tote stuffed with goodies, a cupcake from the Cupcake Gypsies, a warm winter drink and a round of fun in the vintage camper photo booth. A DJ will be spinning upbeat tunes to set the mood for fun.
Then, the all-day shopping takes place on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Among the festivities include a giveaway of market totes for the first 100 shoppers, a coffee bar, cupcake camper, the photo booth and music.
Limited tickets are available for the Friday Night Shopping Party and are $15. Ticket price includes Saturday admission. Tickets for Saturday-only admission are $6. Children 12 and younger get in free both days. Tickets are available at http://bit.ly/OHVMtix.
