CLEVELAND, Ohio – The National Milk Glass Collectors Society [www .nmgcs.org] will hold its annual convention this year Sept. 14-15 in the Cleveland, Ohio area at the Cleveland Marriott East. The hotel is located at 26300 Harvard Road in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Room reservations may be made by calling 216-378-9191. Registration information and forms can be found on the National Milk Glass Collectors Society Facebook page.
Convention activities include a 250-piece auction with pieces of interest to the beginning collector through rare, one-of-a-kind items. A dealer room sale will offer more opportunity to view, handle and purchase interesting pieces. The NMGCS convention is chance to see milk glass that is not seen during antique excursions or estate sales.
The first collector convention was held in Nashville, Tennessee in 1984, and the National Milk Glass Collectors Society was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1987.
