Pressed glass is a type of molded glass with intricate patterns created by pressing molten glass into molds, creating an affordable alternative to cut glass. Pressed glass was widely produced from the early 19th century through the mid-20th century, peaking in popularity during the Victorian era. Prominent producers of pressed glass include Heisey, Fostoria, and Cambridge Glass Company.
