Original Miami Beach Antique Show slated for Feb. 9-12

A ‘Jewelry History Series’ and ‘Appraisal Day’ are two of the added events slated to take place leading up to and during the Original Miami Beach Antique Show in February.

NEW YORK — February 9-12, 2018 marks the 57th installment of the annual Original Miami Beach Antique Show (OMBAS; www.originalmiamibeachantiqueshow.com). This is the second year the show is in its temporary location at the Miami Fair Expo Center.

OMBAS Offers Variety and Education

With world-renowned vendors from across the globe, OMBAS offers an expansive selection. This includes fine art, American and European silver, antique and estate jewelry, 17th-19th Century furniture, and porcelain, among other items.

“We’re confident we’re going to have a great show in 2018,” enthused Katrina Canady, Show Director for U.S. Antique Shows. “In addition to providing in-depth education with our Jewelry History Series, which immediately precedes our show, we are implementing a number of additional educational initiatives throughout our event.”

In addition, the popular Jewelry History Series will take place Feb. 7-8 and is open to retailers, wholesalers, appraisers and any collector interested in learning the history of jewelry. Furthermore, celebrated experts in their fields are currently developing this year’s sessions, which will cover a wide-range of topics.

Skinner, Inc. to Provide Appraisals

Additionally, the show will play host to the popular “Appraisal Day” led by Skinner, Inc., as well as guided tours throughout the show.

Furthermore, this will be the show’s final year at the Miami Fair Expo Center before it moves back to the Miami Beach Convention Center in 2019. In addition, the Fair Expo Center provides ample parking in a convenient location and an easy-to-navigate layout.

In conclusion, the Original Miami Antique Show will be open Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Monday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Furthermore, tickets are $20 for general admission and are valid for all four days of the show.
