NEW YORK — Bidsquare, the online bidding platform for over 80 leading auction houses, is putting
on its second annual holiday charity auction, Bidsquare Cares: a holiday benefit auction of art experiences benefiting charity: water to bring clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries. Bidding is going on now through Monday, December 4th at 12:00 p.m. EST.
Up for grabs are 40 one-of-a-kind art and city experiences from leading auction houses and arts and culture organizations, institutions and publications.
Tour highlights include a walk and talk of the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston; a personal guided tour of the Wrightsman Galleries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Central Park views for lunch; and a walking architecture tour of Chicago. Among the other gifts to give to yourself or others: fine wine from the cellar of oenophile David Rago valued at $600+ and dinner at the renowned Cúrate Tapas Bar in Asheville.
100% of the proceeds from Bidsquare Cares go to benefit charity: water. Package values start as low as $25.
“Once again it is that time of year when we are afforded the opportunity through the annual Bidsquare Cares charity event to take a step outside of our archetypal auction world and work with our colleagues to help those in need in developing areas of the world.” says Ron Pook, one of Bidsquare’s founding partners. "Thank you to all those who have joined to make this happen."
