Moran’s plans its final sale for Pasadena center
John Moran Auctioneers will bid farewell to its long-time auction site Sept. 29, with a Decorative Arts auction featuring basketry, textiles, jewelry and beadwork, Persian rugs, and French furniture, among others. The company’s Oct. 20 sale will be held in the new auction and warehouse facility in Monrovia, Calif.
ALTADENA, Calif. – John Moran Auctioneers announces its penultimate Decorative Arts auction of 2015, and the last sale Moran’s is hosting at the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E Green Street, Pasadena), as the firm is soon moving to Monrovia, Calif.
The September 29 Decorative Art Auction features a diverse lineup, comprising a collection of Native American items including basketry, textiles, jewelry and beadwork, Persian rugs, French furniture, Continental decorative arts, silver, and a wide array of 19th and 20th century and modern California and American paintings.
Bidding for the September 29 Decorative Art auction will be available in person, via telephone, written absentee, or live online through Liveauctioneers, Bidsquare and Invaluable platforms. Moran’s next sale will be its October 20 California and American Fine Art Auction, which takes place at its new all-in-one auction, warehouse and office facility in Monrovia, Calif.
