Collectibles Wanted: Toppie the Elephant lunchbox
My name is Allen Woodall, curator of The Lunchbox Museum here in Columbus, Georgia. I’ve been looking for a 1957 Toppie Lunchbox for quite some time for the museum. I’ve acquired the matching thermos. It’s predominantly yellow and red and it features Toppie the elephant. Any help finding it would be appreciated. I can be reached at 706-332-6378 or allenwoodall[at]yahoo.com.
Continental porcelain domestic cats
I have been collecting continental porcelain domestic cats for over 35 years. Unfortunately, I have not had much success finding the cats of either Bing & Grondahl or Royal Copenhagen at antique shows, auctions, or thru eBay.
Your help finding any of the model numbers listed below would be a great assistance toward the completion of my collection.
- Bing & Grondahl: #1528, #1529, #1883, and #1889.
- Royal Copenhagen: #388. #2322, #2512, #2607, #2741, and #2965.

Military postal covers from women
Several years ago I started a collection of letters (covers) envelopes, for the postal markings, and return addresses, from WOMEN in the U.S. Military during WWII, from locations all over the world. These include WACs, WAVEs, WASP, WAFs, Marines, SPARs, Navy Nurses, and Army Nurses. Condition of the envelope means a lot, and ratty items are usually not wanted unless they are extremely scarce, and I would have to judge that. I started collecting stamps some 75 years ago and switched to collecting covers, (the whole envelope) a number of years ago, specializing in early Alaska, the Korean War, Collins postmarks and related covers.
So far I have been Unable to find any mail from WASPs, WAFs, SPARs, and only one example from a Navy Nurse, and a Women Marine. I like regular size envelopes as opposed to the long #10 envelopes as they display better. But if something is available regardless of size in ones I do not have examples from so be it.
I can be reached by writing to Bob Collins, 25407 Hall Drive, Westlake, Ohio 44145, or by e-mail at bobbybill1935[at]aol.com. Thank you very much.
P.S. My interest lies in the envelope, in nice condition for the postal markings and addresses. If the enclosure is there, that is great, but not necessary.

Mills coin-operated dice machine
I am looking for a coin-operated dice machine made by Mills and called I Will. It has three glass domes on top of a cast iron bottom with dice under each dome. You have a choice of which dome you want to play. The machine has two partial nude figures on the front of it. I have been looking for this machine over 25 years. I’m told there is one in Michigan but can’t locate it.
Call Tom Gustwiller at 419-234-6133 if you have one or know where one is.
