A Cedarburg (Wis.) Volunteer Fire Department tradition for more than 40 years, Maxwell Street Days is a large outdoor sale with more than 800 spaces filled with antiques, collectibles, crafters, produce and rummage plus food, beverages and music. This fundraiser helps support the volunteer fire department. Located at Cedarburg Fireman’s Park about 25 miles north of Milwaukee, the last two show dates this year are Sept. 6 and Oct. 4.

A table top of antique brass door knobs offers an instant collection or a resource for a home restoration project. Most were priced between $10 and $20.	As seen here, the July 19 Maxwell Street Days included a seller of antique and vintage chandeliers and lamps. Organizers said the busiest markets are those that are held on Memorial Day or Labor Day weekends.
Earlier this year, Maxwell Street Days organizers declared their intention to attract more sellers of antiques and collectibles to Maxwell Street Days. There are few restrictions on what vendors may sell there. As such, customers may find produce, Chinese imports or sporting goods.	Vendors are allowed to set up at 4 p.m. Saturday in anticipation of the 6 a.m. Sunday opening. However, most vendors show up just after 4 a.m. Sunday to unload their merchandise.
